Booking for Eid Al Adha

 

Information

As of 2025, FIRST day of Eid al Adha held at Shepherd’s Touch Farm requires reservation and down payment for animals. SECOND AND THIRD day is walk-ins; no reservation and down payment needed for animals. However, Picnic Ground spots must still be reserved for all Eid days!

WE ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAY! In order to continue providing good service to our many valued customers, we are closed on Sunday. We need a day to rest and recover from the rest of the week. Also, a lot of our extra workers for the Eid are part of the local Amish and Mennonite community, and they don’t work on Sunday.

Shepherd’s Touch Farm is excited to announce that the same activities for the families are still available for 2025 Eid event as in years gone by, including the play area for the children that has ballons, toys, bounce houses, barrel train rides etc.
However, we are needing to make some changes in order to continue to provide them.
We are very limited in space as we can no longer use the neighbor’s field in the front of the creek, therefore we are doing online reservation only and there is a fee for parking and camping, see prices below. (Note to beef customers: beef Qurbani will be held at another location, more info here.)

For Picnic Grounds rental, reservation required for ALL available Eid days. FOR FIRST DAY: $150 for 5 persons/1 vehicle per Picnic Ground per day, $30 for additional person. FOR SECOND AND THIRD DAY: $100 per Picnic Ground, and $20 for additional person. NOTICE: Picnic Grounds are available only to customers that already book for their animal. And for customers that plans to buy animal on second or third day.

For Pavilions rental, $500-$1,200 per day depending on which pavilion, which day and number of persons, for more info ask Amos (see below)

ALL RESERVATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, except Picnic Ground – in the event of rainy day, Picnic Ground is refundable in only half the amount, and it can be credit toward animal purchase balance.

Burning service for head and feet might be available: $20 per head, and $10 per set of 4 feet, inform clerk upon animal selection for these add-ons. As normal, on first day, we DO NOT skin the heads. Stomach can be provided.

HELPFUL INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION FOR LAMB OR GOAT BOOKING:

#1 Make your reservation online with $250 down-payment (lamb/goat price ranges from $350-$650. 90% of them are $400-$550). NAME & ADDRESS MUST MATCH WITH YOUR PHOTO ID OR DRIVER ID! To prevent theft, we will ask for your ID at your arrival to confirm your booking and admission! NOTE: The booking system is configured with Saturday, June 7th as the first day and Sunday, June 8th as the second day, and so on. If the first day is officially rescheduled to Friday, June 6th, all bookings for June 7th will be considered as bookings for the first day.

#2 Arrive at the APPOINTED time and have your driver or photo ID ready for us to check, and if the time is correct, admission will be granted. If too early, you need to wait till your time. (No early admission, with the exception to people that reserved for Picnic Ground).

#3 With a number issued/confirmed during admission, find your correct queue in correct line at the barn. (Your booking time slot is guaranteed, and no one are able to choose their animal till their time.)

#4 Choose your animal(s) and wait while we slaughter and cut or take it outside to self-slaughter and self-processing.

Eid event from another year

After Eid prayer Habib will slaughter and then cut into medium pieces and put in box with your name and phone number on, and put in cooler, ready for you to pick-up at your time you chose when you book this order! When you arrive, and upon confirmation, you will receive entry ticket. Then someone will direct you to where to get your meat.

For third Eid day – we can cut into smaller pieces instead of medium pieces.

We will send another email or text few days ahead of Eid to all who order for pick-up with pictures of 3 different animal group options for you to choose from: the $350 group, $400 group, and $450 group, and an invoice will be send for you to pay in full which will be required before we start slaughter. ($250 from reservation will be deducted) Any pre-order not paid in full will not be slaughtered in a planned timely manner.

If you want to choose your animal in person or slaughter animal yourself, then use main booking for first day or walk-ins on third day.
